  • Meet the technical requirements of the appropriate BAFE scheme
  • Meet all relevant British Standards for technical performance
  • Provide a high level of staff training and supervision to industry best practice standards
  • Are comprehensively insured to protect customers and staff
  • Are inspected every six months by professional auditors including random customer site visits.

The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) states: “We support third party certification schemes as an effective means of assuring the quality, reliability and safety of products and services, and recognise the valuable role BAFE plays in bringing to the marketplace recognised registration schemes for these products and services”.
